Jesus came to rescue and redeem lost sinners.
Questions:
Why were the Pharisees upset with Jesus? Whom did Jesus come to save?
What are some of the things the father did when his son returned home?
What does this teach us about how God feels when a sinner repents and returns to him?
Memory Verse: LUKE 15:10 “There is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

We should forgive others just as God forgave us.
Questions:
What did Peter want to know about forgiveness?How many times did Jesus say Peter should forgive someone who sinned against him?
What do we ask God to forgive in the Lord’s prayer?
And what do we tell him we will do to others? What should we do when we struggle to forgive others?

God is free to bless anyone he chooses in the ways he knows are best.

Do people normally want to be first in line or last? In the story
that Jesus told about the workers, who got paid first—those who started last and did the least or those who started first and did the most? What point was Jesus making?
